I'm quite suprised that no one has beat me to this sad announcement of the recent demolition, or maybe they have and I'm bieng stupid! :/
I'm not going to dwell into the history of this place as there is plenty of it about.
What I will say is that anyone who hasn't taken the opportunity to visit the silos for the 10 years that they haven't been occupied has seriously lost out on such an iconic and a once in a lifetime mother of mooches.
I don't post many threads here I do apologies profusely... That's what happens when my apreciation factor values the picture it sees with the eyes than taking piccies with a camera. Selfish bastard me I know! :)

However, this was worth the watch, and a few snaps on the iPhone.

Never got to the top hey Becs. Bad times :(
I didn't even know they were taking them down untill I saw it myself. Gutted!
 
typical that I drove past there last night and never noticed that they were coming down, looks like thats one explore I wont be doing now:( .always told myself, next time I'll stop for a nose , but never did, too late now I guess
