Visited today with my daughter, managed to get a fair chunk of it done before jumping over a fence between the buildings and meeting a security Van coming the other way ! Luckily he was an alright guy who said " I am to fat to chase you" to which i replied "I am to old to run away".. we both laughed and he said the front gate is open so go out that way... Was impressed by what I saw there apart from the incredible amounts of pigeon poo !

The former Bass Maltings at Sleaford is one of the largest and most spectacular buildings of its type in the United Kingdom.
The Maltings is a Grade II* listed complex built between 1901 and 1907
Maltings operations ceased in 1959 and the buildings were subsequently used for poultry farming and vegetable processing. They are now all empty.
An application in 1982 to demolish the Maltings was refused at appeal in 1984
In January 2009, applications for Planning and Listed Building Consent were registered by North Kesteven District Council. Proposals include the change of use of the former Bass Maltings to provide a mixed use development of 204 residential dwellings, healthcare and community facilities, retail and restaurant floor space, office space and associated open space and car parking. In addition 24 new houses are proposed to the east of the Maltings.
