Nice job, are these the towers they demolished using non explosive technique..:question:
 
Yeah I'm fairly local & saw something briefly on TV a few night ago, not sure it was these particular one's but they used cables to pull them down...:)
 
We've been over to see this place a couple of times but demo were actually living on site so we didn't wander in. Mind you, apart from standing inside the towers you can get all your shots from the road anyway. Shame it's going but on the other hand they are a bit of an eyesore on the skyline.

Good to see these again, went here last summer, the acoustics inside the cooling towers are amazing - Really enjoyed this place, shame to see them being pulled down. They are threading cables through the side of them and pulling them over. They can't blow them up due to asbestos and due to the fact if they do, it could cause the nearby canal banks to collapse.
