Built in 1824, at the height of output these mills had 21,000 spindles and 660 looms. The three storey mill is currently under redevelopment, it would appear that the weaving sheds have been stripped in preparation for demolition. This was pretty much a flying visit this due to the fact i spotted builders were working on the second floor whilst I was there, Luckily they didn’t spot me.
