Dhustone Quarry is pretty interesting, they moved from the abandoned one in the 1980's but it's still impressive, the chav's have been in but they haven't damaged much, mostly fly tipping.

The Views are wonderful but it's hard to get to if you don't know the area. Just stop on Clee hill and ask for directions to the old quarry and you'll be pointed in the right way.

It's frequented by dog-walkers and ramblers and chav's 'getting it on' once the sun set;s but it's a wonderful place. Mind the broken glass and the shaft's though, it's a bit overgrown.

Going up there tomorrow, get some shots for you all to see!

Hi Cobweb
Just wondering if you ever got back to get some pics? Saw that it's your fave on the favourite explore thread, and it does sound like an amazing place. Would love to see some photos of it.
Cheers
Foxy :)

having been nosing around the forums and found this thread I know this place rather well as I used to get shipped off to my grandparents who lived in the village of Dhustone itself till they moved to Ludlow as it was getting hard for them to get to the local shops, school holidays over summer was spent getting into all sorts of mischeif in the old quarry,as well as the working quarry next door watching the earth movers

Next time I'm over that was I'll get some pictures
