Me and 2 friends decided that we would put ourselves to good use and go on a lil explore. I added my own personal touch the mills history for all those who can't be bothered to read and actual history for those interested.
My Basic History: J N Miller LTD was a flour mill among other things, it did lots of milling type activities until it closed down, the mill has been empty since 1981. In 2008 there was an angry fire which made a lot of the metal twisty, it now stands all alone and abandoned (minus the pigeons).
An Actual History: "From being principally a flour millers in the 19th century, by the early 20th century J.N. Miller Ltd. had extended into the manufacture of flaking plants, seed grain, straight provender and fertilizers. Wheat, barley, oats and rye were purchased worldwide, nationally and locally. The company progressed to producing animal and poultry feed which became its foremost business and as a result flour milling ended in 1959. In 1907 the mill was formed into a private limited company and called itself J.N. Miller Ltd. Alfred Miller, the Managing Director died the following year......"
