Default NGTE Pyestock. March 2013. Pre Demo

Had the chance to see the Pye a few weeks back before the full onset of the demolition teams had begun, the demo crews were set to go but the place was fully intact, had heard demo would take months but with the reports coming in thick and fast the demise of this slice of history looks as if it could be only weeks.
Another early start and we where off to get our teeth in this mammoth site and the National Gas Turbine Establishment, Pyestock didn't disappoint.
On explores with AltDayOut, PeterC4 and Sshhhh...
    Here is my take

    A huge thanks for looking.

    Looking beyond the pictures. :p

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
