Thought I would add some of mine I was worried they wouldnt come out as it was very foggy which made it nearly impossible to get a decent exposure.

Excellent pics WOTS and RM. Like both the black and white pics and also the ones taken in the fog, looks very atmospheric.

Most of the collieries around me are all gone now. think there's only two left in nottinghamshire. thoresby and Welbeck, all the others have been flattened. :(

Enjoyed looking at these. Was the bath house still there? like looking at those, and the locker rooms too.

The bathouse was in the middle of being demolished, The lamproom and stores are also gone now. Theres a quite a bit left but UK coal are wasting not time flattening it. The shafts arnt capped yet but its only a matter of time really.

Seems criminal that Pits with reserves are written off while UK coal are allowed to plunder national resources in order to develop the land above.

Property development in this country is getting ridiculous, it make little sense for the government to allow them to throw away those resources. Its just about money with them and its getting worse.:mad:
