I pass this place a lot and could never work out what it was. I finally found out by asking a local and it turned out that it was a wood yard. it was rented by a local family and when they couldn't make it pay the landowners took it back. There have been many attempts to develop the land but all have been unsuccessful as the site is accessed through a set of inhabited railway cottages and they don't need the disruption. There used to be a station nearby but that has long gone. From what I found it has been derelict since 2001. The local morons with spray cans have broken into the office and "tagged" everywhere!.
