Another fantastic explore in the superb company of Skankypants, Shush, Mr Toby, HitGirl, Richard and Auntie Pam.

Really enjoyed this old place, was a propper mad dash ten minute job as the owner came along and very kindly asked us to finish up in five and be on our way rather than ranting which made a nice change, splendid chap.

A strange building which seems to have been part residential at some point with lots of bits left.

OMD EM5 and a 17mm.... cheers for looking.

...Moderator's note: SECOND PHOTO REMOVED BECAUSE IT SHOWS A NAME AND ADDRESS...

The old girl is still a great mooch with some awesome picture opportunities. I am staggered that the owner didn't haul you out by the seat of the pants because he's had a right old pop at urbexers in the local papers, albeit not for a while now. Are you sre it wasn't one of the residents from the flats?

The reason for all the personal belongings in the part of the building with a roof is almost certainly because the owner lived on site for a while in a static caravan whilst he was doing up the big barn on the main road, initially as his own house, but eventually as four flats. I believe he lives in a house in Accrington now though I'm not 100% on that.

Finally, I'm sorry but I have removed one of your photos because it had a name and address showing. In all likelihood the person will have passed on or moved or whatever, but in the interests of sensitivity it is always best NOT to post photos of that nature or to blur the information out. Personally I also blur out faces in personal photographs unless they are very, very old.

if you wish to put the photo back in, and it would be nice if you do so because it is a cracking shot with great composition, then please blur out the name and address. It will not detract overly from the picture.

Hope you understand where I am coming from on this.

Thanks for some cracking pix.
