The Bricky

I'm afraid thats the only name I know it by.
Its on a dead end road called brick kiln bank, that is lead off from queensway.
There isn't much left of it I'm afraid but it isn't entirely destroyed a tower still stands and some tunnels are there along with a burnt out building.
Its due to be built over though, not sure what its about to become though.
If anyone want to get to this place PM me so I can give you better directions.

well as im a ex telford lad i can shed some light......the site was called "ibstock" brickworks and it closed just after the ironbridge bypass opened in the late 80s the site was part flattened and all that was left was the chimney and the kilns and a shed.....the site was sold to safeway and now im sure it is morrisons...it may have been sold on....or may service shoppers at the nearby lightmoor village....the site has also been used as a car boot sale site.

I had heard that too. But then I've heard many things about that place.

I used to go down there to hang out with my friends, until they all lost interest.
