After a failed attempt a month ago in finding this place and a wasted journey into the wrong part of Wales was kindly given the location.

Visited with my other half.

No real information on this place as it seems there are numerous cotton mills along this stretch of river in varying states of decay. All seem to have been small concerns with no real history as far as I can find.Going to do some more digging around to see if I can find any more information.
Did find a couple of old newspapers lying around dating from the 70's and 80's but I guess it was in use well before these dates.

A nice little location, although the building is in a sad state there are some nice little bits of engineering machinery still lying around.

On my return did manage to take a swim in the river but did keep the camera dry!! And there was me thinking it would be the other half I'd be dragging out the river!

Word of warning just bought a new fisheye lens, kept the shots to a minimum though.

Cheers for looking.

Those are great pics and yes, I'm amazed that this place has survived so well.

One small point though. It is a wool mill, not cotton. Cotton was never grown in the UK, whereas vast amounts of wool was (and is) produced.
