When back over today with my race car to do the photo shoot. The person who was taking the photos likes this type of place so between shots we wondered about the site having another good look around (Also went to St Lukes with us (My nephew came as well) after)
Pity is they have closed the only entry into the pithead bath area, but there was still plenty to take photos of.
This was permission visit and as I said in my last posting about this place, even though the mine is not being used, they still use the site.

First place I went was on top of the pithead, I am not very keen on heights but just had to do it.

The pics are great and really capture a great site.

But the post procccessing has ruined what was actually taken. I don't know what has been done exactly, but somebody has pressed the colour button and that has ruined this report.

Any chance of the pics in their RAW form ?

Sorry I thought this forum was for sharing pictures of derelict places not for slating the pictures - very little post processing actually as im a hater of photoshop (life is way too short for all that), its just a case of a full frame camera, careful lighting and camera settings. Thanks for been so welcoming to what i thought would be a nice forum, seems its the same as the rest of them - sorry for 'ruining' the report - Ill happily delete them im you so wish ;-)

Again like on the other site, you have chosen to complain about my photos, I have seen some of yours and to be honest "There's not that much difference" I sent you a PM on the other side where I have explained I have a 150 quid camera and not a thousand pound plus one, they come out flat and bland on my computer so I darken then and add a little "Fill light" unless my eyes are bad, they look OK for me.
Easy answer is "If you don't like my reports, when your see them pop up JUST DONT CLICK ON THEM" and as your local to me, go and see the place for yourself.

Nice pictures, that colliery was working last time I went past, a few years ago.

A drag racing car ? ??? Not seen one of those at a disused colliery before.
