Brickworks E, Surrey (plan C) - Nov 2013

After plan A and plan B fails, I decided another brickworks was in order, especially as the last one was such a good mooch. Whilst this one provided a much needed little rurex at the end of the day, it was sadly more little league than premiere league.

Brickworks E operated for some 40+ years, extracting clay and manufacturing bricks here. The works closed during the '80s and nature has been slowly reclaiming the area. One of the main buildings collapsed in 2004 and much was subsequently demolished, leaving the chimney stack and brick-built kilns as the main attraction today.
