Talking Record Ridgway - January 2014

After a disappointing start to the day, George Barnsley's access removed :( We decided to take a trip to Record Ridgway. Very impressed with a lot of the graffiti in here and the roof top was great - I'm a sucker for a roof top!

    Thanks for looking! :)

Wowww! I gotta come here with ya mate!
Loving the art too, kinda adds to the place even tho is never condone it...
I think the last significant one may be by 'Phlegm' who does a lot round that area.
Back to dereliction, it looks a fantastic splore!

    You're always welcome along :)
I think you're right about the artist, the big one is an absolute masterpiece! Personally, I can't see a problem with this type of art, it's on the inside of an abandoned building which will end up flattened next anyway.
The factory was actually really cool too, lots of puddles, moss and drips from the ceiling which gives the place a real character.

I love that place, it really reminds me of Parcelforce in Bristol before it was stripped.

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
