This is Summerhall, currently an arts and events center encompassing several sprawling buildings. One of these buildings used to be an animal surgery which is now derelict, and while it has changed considerably, there are some remnants that still pose a reminder of what it once was. There are cages, operating sinks, tables and odd instruments. Most of the building is decaying, the ceilings have partially collapsed in some rooms and the floors are drenched with liquid and debris which is very swamp-like. There are numerous asbestos warnings, and it was very dark as there was no electricity; the camera flash provides most of the light in these photographs. Some of the rooms also looked like they had extensive fire damage but I couldn't capture enough light to photograph. Hopefully you will enjoy the ones I did take.
