Dysons started manufacturing in 1800's as widely reported. This site closed in 2005 as technology developed. Dysons have half a dozen properties around Yorkshire/Derbyshire which are all up for redevelopment via a third party. It seems as technology moves a pace these sites have become surplus to requirements and will be redeveloped, so enjoy while you can.............

Heard this place was getting demoed any sign of that happening yet oh canny pics there also.
 
This is next on my list.

My friend's dad worked here and as the worker who had been there the longest, was allowed to cast the last brick (as she said). He then went on to work as the security guard patrolling it for a while, but I guess that job no longer exists.
 
It's a nice spot if you catch the winter sunshine. :)

Agree with Dave, I'd heard demo was imminent as well..
