My nephew (HT) and myself had another early start and we arrived at Tonedale by 7.30, as I said in my report, I knew what to expect there and wasn't disappointed. I had seen photos from Tone and didn't think there would be much there, but what a surprise we parked up and looked for a entry and managed to squeeze in. (HT sometimes wonders how the Oldie (Me) get through and over places sometimes) We where in this very dark room with the drying machine. I am now using RAW and in some places in here I was doing 30 sec exposures and light painting. To be honest, I thought that was going to be it, then HT called as he had found a small entry into another part.
What a place!! after nearly a hour I packed all my stuff up when HT again told me to follow him. He had found another large building with lots of good stuff in, I just got the camera back out but left the tripod wrapped up and did this all handheld.
He also took me to where someone had in the past set up a garage and spray shop. there was lots of just junk in here (There was piles of what looked like car boot stuff dumped into a pile) and looks like it had been used by a band for practice.
Anyway the place made my day and I came home happy
Thanks all of my dribble and now to the photos
