This was my first ever explore. Not much to tell as the building was in such a bad state and over the years most of the property has been knocked down to accommodate a hospital and residential works. Originally it was build as a rope makers but changed over the years for storage and various uses.

This is the room which is above the front entrance. I wasn't brave enough to even keep to the edges and access the other side of the building for fear of it collapsing

The place has been completely stripped by metal thieves as all the walls have been routed

One of the darkend rooms was full of butterfly's. This was the highlight of the explore me thinks.

What an imposing looking building. Very similar to the main old building at Esholt sewage works not far from me.

Great pics of the place and the resident wildlife too. Nice to see the peacocks and small tortoiseshells are ready for spring.

Thanks for sharing.

Great first report..lovely butterflies too..thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the nice comments. I will bring a tripod to my next explore and try to use manual settings only. I am only learning to use the settings.

I am curious is this a yorkshire water site? I am a technician at a waste water company and we have huge Screw pumps that were build pre 70's. I can imagine how interesting these sites can be.
