Well the last few days have been quite funny but dissapointing explorations. being chased by dogs, cows and angry farmers!!

But I decided that a friend an I (non member) would take a road trip to try and find Potters Manor, only to discover that the directions I had for the location didn't match the raod map we had of the area at all!!! Plan aborted!!

So we decided we were going to go and find Hellingly Hospital instead. (which is a whole different story all together, but came away with only one picture, which i will savour for when I go back before it gets demolished.)

Whilst searching for it driving round and round it what seemed like endless circles, I looked accross the road as we came round the corner and saw an old abandoned Mill.

I shouted" look at that!" so loud my mate nearly crashed the car!! OOOOPPPPSSSS!!!!

After finding somewhere to park, we walked down the drive that lead to it and saw that it was wide open for the whole world to explore (and chav trash) so went and had a look and this is what we found.

A few pics are edited just to add character.

There were loads of pigeons in there and poo everywhere, the floors unfortunately were rotting through, but I didnt want to risk it unlike Cunningplan in his exploration of the building.
We took a walk around the grounds and saw a sluice gate.

These dated back to 1985, the book keeper didn't give this to the accountant...

Hope you enjoyed.
Was an interesting day out to say the least, loads of laughs and very hairy moments!!!

Shame Cunningplan and I went different days, would have been cool to have met you... maybe another time.....

I really like that mill, well done for not risking the upper floors they are truly lethal! It would make an amazing house, Id put a glass floor in to see the stream running underneath :)
Nice photos

Nice one, had this on my map for a while after hearing the name, but never seen photos of it!
Looks a bit sketchy, but looks a great explore all the same! :)

Sounds like an interesting day! :) love how you never know how trips are going to turn out, great find in the end tho.

A great set of shots you've done there, nearly all the places we venture have some sort of Danger, compared to Babies this was a walk in the park :)
I never bothered with next door as the last time it was bolted down tight, pity I didn't look this time.
UrbanX if you want to look, do it quick ;)

I have recently visited this old mill! i came across it the same way, it just popped up out of no where. Its an amazing place, love your photos!!
