Old Mill, East Sussex

This is my first post so bare with me

I am a A-Level student studying photography; my work is about capturing the life left in decay. I want to create images of locations that most people will never see. Every place has a story and I want to help preserve its history, memory and spirit that shines through the dust and decay by capturing it in a photo which can last a lifetime.

I recently visited an Old mill in East Sussex, I came across it by accident whilst on google maps street view (as weird as that sounds i was looking for where my grans new house was! aha) it was very tucked away and I don't even know how I saw it but I'm glad I did! This place is a gem!

The processing isn't for me, it's difficult to see what is in some of the photos, but thanks for sharing and good luck with the a-levels.

Nice one, love the compositions but as others have said, processing can be a bit much for us documentalists!

Yeah i know there only edited like this for a workshop we had to do (HDR photography- where it layers 3 of the same image on top of each other but each with different exposures), i was going to post the originals but I've lost them!

ooooo nice stuff! One to go find and explore.
