When I first saw Pyestock, I realised that it deserved far more than just a few exploration write-ups, or a project section on my website. So, after several trips, and 1500+ photos, and a load of research, I've started to put everything up on a website.

www.ngte.co.uk

Included are a full virtual tour, a new detailed map, brief descriptions and photographs of the key buildings on the site, a full write-up and tour of the power station, and an account of our first exploration in June last year.

And there's much, much more to come.

Enjoy.

All the best,
Simon

Damn that's looking good.
Nice one Simon, you must have been working on that for ages.

well hot diggity damn Simon! that really is quite flash:cool: well done it looks great, liking the diary's!

Great work, can't wait till its all finished! Nice to read all the background after seeing the place! ;)

Many thanks for your kind comments. That website's been a long time in planning - but that's partly why urbex|uk has been quiet for so long.

The first updates are now online:
1. Full write-up and walk-through of the Admiralty Test House.
2. The second Pyestock Diary entry.
3. A piece I wrote for the Construction History Society about urban exploration.
4. And the links section gets fleshed out.

All the best,
Simon
