Recently went to the old Burton's building in Ipswich, we had a group of 3, one of us waited at the bottom due to the recent up in security (because of the drug use found to be happening in the building, and also because it was a busy night with police and security driving by regularly. We waited till the time was right, and quickly made our move and got in.
This building is one of the worst buildings I have been in due to the vandalism, and the evidence of drug use,we took the most direct way to the roof and didn't get a look around the inside of the building even so we found needles/ items used to make heroin on nearly every single landing.
There were concrete stairs the whole way up which wasn't too bad, however once we reached the top floor, there was a flimsy metal ladder/staircase, at this point me being terrified of heights (trying to get over it) would have been happy to turn around, but thanks to my fellow explorer that came in with me, I was convinced to go up, and it was definitely worth it.
Once on the roof we had a view of the entire river, the docks, the bridges, and other buildings around the city, it was an amazing sight. Here are a few photos.

Eventually after being up there and taking enough photos, we made our way down the horrible ladder, down the stairs and found our way out.
If anyone else wants to explore this building, be careful and make sure you wear decent footwear and watch your step! the amount of needles here was ridiculous!
Anyway I hope you enjoyed! sunny.
