Unfortunately I don't know much history about Papworth Publishing, and am struggling to find any information online or on Derelect Places about it.

I visited on a rainy day so it made for some quite damp areas internally. From looking at other posts it also seems like there has been a lot more graffiti added inside. Although I'm not a huge fan of graffiti some of it was actually pretty good and I suppose it's better off being done in a place like this than out on the streets.

They seemed very keen to keep people out by barricading the door with a pile of paperwork and folders:

Inside was very open with not much to be seen:

Someone has been having a meeting though:

Making my way downstairs I found the factory area:

Thanks for looking!

There is some really good graffiti here! The "Slow Walkers" sign just reminds me of The Walking Dead though lol

I've managed to find some information about Papworth Publishing. I did a company check and they are in Canvey Island publishing Sherwood diaries and government ledgers. Been on the go since 2005. But what I think you have here is Papworth Trust. I found this link on Derelict Places website from steve2109

If you'll notice that his pictures are similar to yours - including "Slow Walkers"

Thanks for doing some research into Papworth Publishing. I assumed this was their old location because when looking around there was a lot of paperwork indicating to "Papworth Publishing". There are quite a few other buildings in the vicinity which I thought were part of the trust but I could be wrong.

You are posting really good reports and pics Rubex and I'm enjoying them, I quite like some of our urban artists offerings although the eejits who just tag or mar a site with crudely drawn genitalia are a pain in the proverbial.
