The Grimsby Ice Factory, once the largest ice factory in the world at 4350 square metres in size, used to produce 1200 tonnes of crushed ice daily to preserve fish at Grimsby’s seaport. The factory, constructed between 1898 and 1901, was operational up until 1990. It is now home to hundreds of pigeons, as you’ll see from all the poo on everything! Unfortunately we didn’t have long in here at all before we were rumbled by security.

Thanks for looking,

I think you might be right there Smiler, when I walked into the second part of the building all the pigeons were flying around and out of the roof of the building. I thought then that might have alerted security because they are literally just around the corner sitting in their little hut. They must be used to the signs. I avoided getting my head pooed on though

Great set rubex..never seen so much pigeon poo in my life..shame one did not poo on you.that would have made my day .ha ha ;) I could have done with a little longer here..

Nice work indeed. Security have always been a bit keen here, I gave up trying after two failed attempts so well done To you. Trouble with Grimsby, it's a bit deprived now but not much around to take a nose at surprisingly?

Cracking photos here.. Love those dials, it's a shame some are smashed. Must be the thuggy pigeons
