hello everyone! this is my first thread and first location I've ever been to. I would like to apologize upon the billionth post about this location but i thought it was worth an update and new views!

Me and my mates decided to visit this place on two occasions but i will tell you about the second visit to the location a bit later on.

So my first ever day.. visiting what was a 'way to big' location for a newbie at this; but it was definitely worth it, although it was raining for the majority of the time i did manage to get a few decent shots even if the weather didn't agree with us! What was a great 4 hours spent here we left the location from a different but easier route (compared to how we got in) and walked away with no problems, just memories.

Upon my second visit, we ventured to the site around evening time but the reasoning behind this was we felt like we were missing something, even if it was a risky situation we just had to capture a certain picture. When we arrived i couldn't help but notice fresh razorwire around the outside of the site which made me lead to think that some new security measures may have also been introduced but luckily we didn't see anything different when we got inside.

All in all, a great experience and would love to return there one day in the future (if it's still standing that is)

WARNING: Picture heavy!!

Best picture by far(credit to my friend for this shot)

Probably my favorite explore is Cwm Coke works, I need to plan my third visit soon. Thanks for sharing this with us. It's a great first report!

Well done on first shoot. Great place to go, well done on not seeing secca. Cracking shots !

Welcome to the forum! That's a great first report. I love seeing this place, have to do a Wales trip sometime so I can see it for myself. Thanks for sharing!

Not bad for a first report but I have a few niggles. Some of your pictures are dark. Some are fuzzy. And if you're posting please put a gap between pictures. Apart from that one thing I did notice is your pictures have good composition, you've got a central subject with something on either side, that's good. Oh, and lastly try to take pictures without your mates, sometimes nice to have your mates in the picture but in this case they spoil the shot. Look forward to your next post.

Yep as Hugh says - lose the fuzzy/too dark shots and stick a gap between them and you'll be in good stead.

I love Cwm Coke, it's one of my favourite industrial spots ever.

I agree with Mook, we're not being venomous, they're just observations, One of the best first posts on here, Nicely Done, Thanks

Love seeing big industrial sites like these, sweet.
