Sorry some of the shots aren't that good, I went here back before I actually really started to enjoy taking photos. If I go back there I'll get better ones. These are actually from two separate visits, the interior shots are from back when it was more accessible. Shame there's a taller fence around it now so it's harder to get in. Anyway, to the history...

The Hafod-Morfa Copperworls in Swansea. Built in the early 19th Century, it was once a major industrial hub for much of Britain up until the 1970s. Today it lies derelict and abandoned, though the government is undertaking work to preserve and develop the site. Buildings include the canteen, laboratory, engine shed, chimneys and engine houses, and a few more. The rolling mill is now home to the Swansea Museum Collections Centre.























And this last one, I have no idea why the picture came out like this but I thought it looked pretty cool anyway.
