Good morning again,

Ok so we did this place, its been covered a million times as has the history of the place.
To sum it up it was a former plastics engineering and production company. Since them it has been heavily vandalised and burnt, however at night this place comes alive.

We arrived at the spot just after 10pm, there was a crisp wind and only 1 tube left of pringles. We arrived at the entrance and found a rather convenient hole, we were in!

We entered the first building

We moved on down to the next building, this was sealed shut but got a couple of pics in that area.

We saw another building but there wasn't too much there either, we started walking towards to other part of the site and found a tunnel.

We entered a building, we creeped ourselves out a little as Mr Fantana decided to hum to himself while me and Mr Stride were a good few paces behind wondering where the noise was coming from! Anyway.....

It was actually quite a nice view from the many holes in the building.

We walked up the stairs to find a little boy!

We moved onto the outer buildings around the area, they had a much more industrial feel and here are some pictures taken in these areas.

We had a really good time here & this place is awesome in the dark, I know its been done loads but I genuinely think with someone that knows how to take photos and with a good camera (Not my Samsung S6) in the dark could do a really good job.

Thanks for looking!

You were brave going there at night, I know I wouldn't.

Question though, and no offence meant - why don't you explore in the day?

Yeah places can be a little eerie at night but generally its quite peaceful and makes escape/hiding alot easier.

2 reasons to be honest, going at night means that even though we don't have amazing camera equipment, our pictures offer something different and sometimes paints the buildings in a different light.

Second reason is that we all work alot and simply don't have time, we have partners who generally want our time at weekends unfortunately so we do weekdays at night to get away from it all. We are going to start 1 weekend a month where we do different places across the country and overseas. There will be day shots when we do this which will be cool.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with your images, I have seen people with over £4 grand's worth of kit in their bag produce absolute crap! They did this because they did not have that vital component - that you have in spades - A good eye! If one has that you will tell the 'story' no matter what equipment you use and remember, lugging a bloody great equipment bag around can bring a completely different meaning to the phrase ' it's easy access'. Brilliant set of images of a place I knew quite well in its production days. Looking forward to seeing more of your work!

You won't get a better endorsement and he's right, Nicely Done

I see, I thought it might have been something like that!
