History:

The Mill was built in 1829. A fine cloth manufacturer was founded at the mill in 1919. The mill closed in 1974, but was re-opened in 1976. Currently the Chimney stack has been demolished along with an outer building. Now a classic car renovation company uses one of the upper floors to the rear of the Mill.

A nice choice of shots, going from the normal inside the building shots to odd ones like, Noddy, the dumper truck and the kennel for Hooch. I like it. I wonder what happened to Hooch.

Been a while since I've seen this pop up. Has the way up into the best floor full of the old mill machinery been sealed then? I remember this place being a complete and utter pain in the backside to negotiate with so many locked doors and active areas to avoid, I'll never forget hearing the sounds of people working right behind one of the sliding doors on the 'epic' floor whilst we were tiptoeing around trying to be all sneaky like.

Yea that bit has been completely sealed up now unfortunately, it looked like they had breeze blocked each level up and couldn't get in any of the windows that had previously been able to, new boards added to them all.

Ahhh boo. I know the original way that I used was a hatch at the top of a ladder that opened up right into that floor at the end of a dark corridor full of old air conditioning pipework which made a hell of a noise when you clambered over it, not long after my visit that was apparently sealed as well. Not surprising considering the noise it made! Me and Landie Man went round in circles for at least an hour trying to work out the way up to that floor.
