Oooh, I do like the photo of the laboratory, especially. Interesting looking place. I take it you can't reveal the name or where it is!

Great pics, love the one from the walk way with the contros in the back ground, looks like something from a bond film

Even has a 700 series dial phone on the desk! A proper time capsule.

This would be a good one to keep and preserve it as a museum piece.

Not quite sure its museum worthy, Id far rather they knocked this down and build something useful in its place (as it is no longer going to serve its useful purpose.) It would be better to save one of the big dated coal fired stations.

Ideally It would have been great to see an example of the merry go round system saved but as it is i think most of the pits that would have qualified have now gone. :(

If this is where I think it is then never a truer word spoken. The loss of jobs is a shame particularly in an area where they're so desperately needed, but the place itself will not be missed.
