Today I took a trip to find the old St Osyth quarry. It was surprisingly easy to get into and it's right next to a nature reserve which i'm pretty sure you can get into through there aswell. For as long as I've lived I can't believe I've never been! It's such a cool place with plenty to see. The day before I also went to the boatyard in St Osyth(which I thought the Quarry was near originally). It's not a derelict site like the quarry but It was a nice walk and there was a few old disused/burnt boats so I thought I'd a few pictures :D. CHeck out my Imgur page to more pictures. lawrencep89's albums - Imgur

Haven't seen that on here before. I used to go every year to St Osyth on holiday as a kid years ago. We always went to the priory which is not open to the public anymore as it's structurally unsound. Might be worth checking out.

Sad fate for that truckmixer … looks like an ex-RMC Ford Cargo six wheeler.
