I first visited here in June 2015 with H before I was a member of the forum. Our first and thankfully only experience of getting busted! I had been itching to go back ever since. We didn't even make it inside, mainly because we didn't know about the security there. After I first met Gromr123 and doing a few more explores with him we started hatching a plan to go there. He had been before and I also wanted a revisit. I was determined to get inside. Between the two of us we put a lot of leg work in before we finally rocked up and decided it was now or never. I had the advantage of driving past on a regular basis so could keep tabs on security and police presence, and he had his drone! Over the space of quite a few weeks we put our information together and decided we knew everything we needed to know. Or so we thought.

We knew a huge new palisade fence had been put up around the whole site. The day of the explore I had to go to Horsham first thing and saw something I really didn't want to see - the police outside. We decided to meet anyway as we had back ups lined up just in case it was a no go. After a quick drive past the boys in blue had gone, but we knew the guard, who a lot of the time recently wasn't there, was most definitely on site. Fuck it, what's the worst that could happen!?

We had picked a specific date, a very significant one. I was sure Mr Secca wouldn't be there because he should be home for festivities, and it seemed likely that might happen because he wasn't around much.

It was a great day out. I felt like a teenager again as we got past fence number one and sprinted to the nearest point of cover and hid, peeked towards the security office and made our next move. We found the usual ways in sealed so fence number 2 was tackled. Two more climbs and we were in! Still can't believe it!

It is worth mentioning that ever since we went, they have stepped things up there. There are now 2 guards on site 24/7 and I have seen the police there on a very regular basis. We bumped into a couple of young youtubers covered in mud at another explore not long after, they had been there earlier in the day and dug under the main fence and then couldn't even figure out how to get inside the building. I am still keeping my eye on the place as I would love to go back, but it just isn't worth the risk just now. Access was really dangerous, and they are clearly phoning the police every time someone pesters them. Be warned.

One of the first things I said to Gromr123 when we got in was that I probably wouldn't do a report if he did one. I knew how quickly he would get his pics up, and for me this was more of a personal mission to beat the place the beat me. Well, I have changed my mind months later because given what I have just said there probably wont be anything from this place for a while.

We could have spent another few hours there happily, but we both had commitments and knew leaving was going to be just as tricky as getting in. Poor Grom had a close encounter with the palisade, he was very lucky. Then I had the joys of sitting at the collection point of John Lewis getting funny looks because I covered in brick clay and pigeon shit. Well worth it.

Thanks for looking!

Really enjoyed reading your writeup Brewtal. Love how the story ends with returning to a little bit of normality.

I always enjoy shots from here mate.cracking report and write up

Great report as always! Photos came out really nice, glad you posted them up here. I loved this explore, so satisfying when the plan finally came together despite injuries sustained...

Still got a scar an inch below the nipple haha.

Bit late with the security presence now, such a shame it was allowed to get so badly wrecked :(
