Well I was down Surrey for bh weekend on a brilliant few days mountain biking (You guys have some great natural trails btw) & for some reason the guys didn't want to stay to play on the Monday so I was left alone for a days exploring!

Thanks to Gromr for the heads up here, I spent a good hour or so wandering around on a solo explore & thoroughly enjoyed it. Many of my friends couldn't believe that I had done this alone, but believe me it was nothing compared to the immense thunder storm on Sun night that I spent alone in a tent, glued to my air bed like it was my last chance of survival in an ocean, I don't think I have ever been so grateful for a small piece of rubber :)

Anyway the history here is nothing new, I believe this was built during the latter half of the war & was then used by various company's due to its ambient temperature. The particularly hot day I went in left me gasping in the humid air when I came out that's for sure!

Anyway on with the pics, hope u enjoy/

Nice explore, still haven't seen this yet but it's on my to do list :)

Glad you enjoy'd your stay in Surrey and you're right, there are some great cycling spots around - Richmond in particular. There are some ridiculous downhill rides around there that will put hairs on your chest.

Nice work! Glad you enjoyed this one. It's a decent deep shelter, good to see its still accessible.

We rode from Dorking, over Leith Hill then Hurt wood near Peaslake. Iv rode a lot of places in the UK & yes some are "better" but everywhere is different & this far exceeded my expectations!

Love that chair shot!

Wish I had the fitness to do all that cycling...just pulling the bike out from underneath all the crap in the shed wears me out!
