Default GreenWoods Industries Stives June 2017

Recieved a call from my cousin late last week telling me that he had found yet another abandoned building in our home town St Ives! He sent me some pictures and I just had to go! So I did.

    The Explore:

The building is not in that bad nick. Although there is a homeless man living in the factory. We know this because there were knives scattered everywhere and coat hangers on doors, plants on shelves, cups and dishes to be washed in the sink! The factory has a bursed water main so the factory floof is currently flooding more and more each day!

Hope you enjoy the pics! ;)

The only way to access the 2nd story was to scale the roof!

The upstairs is'nt much but an attic and a little staff room!

This is the view from the attic!

All stairs in the building are blocked off with bricks so you have to use the stairs on the outside! There for you have to exit the building in order to get to the main factory!

Then you have the offices. There are a lot more than you can see in the pictures but I didnt take pictures of them ones because they were quite small!

Heres all the other offices! But the ones upstairs are blocked off. They must be protecting them!?

    Thanks for looking! :)

Ha! I see they still haven't fixed the leak! Nice pics :) there's a few derelict units on this side of the industrial estate. It's all getting torn down soon to make way for a retail park.

Hopefully the company moved on rather than having to shut down. Wonderful photos though!

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
