    Default Cawdor Quarry?

Posting this 'cause I can't find out what it was. It looks like a Limestone processing factory where they combined powdered limestone (lot of that about) with tarmac (2 big tanks of that stuff) but there are no references to this factory on the net. The site sticks out like a sore industrial thumb as you drive past down a rural lane so I can't believe it hasn't been done to death but you never know......

This is the best bit - Lots of dust & powder & me hoping it wasn't carcinogenic...........

Not a great fan of heights but.....

You answered your own question, it was a tarmac and asphalt plant.

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
