I know it's about four months ago, which may be a bit too late, although I feel it's worth sharing the photos of the factory before it's partial demolition in January 2018. As far as I am currently aware we, being me and ExplorerX, are perhaps the last people to explore this site. We explored the site twice because on the first attempt we missed loads of the site.

Yes, we did manage to climb the storage silos but I seem to have deleted the photos.
The reason for closure was due to a construction on a new factory and probably several other reasons.
I will stick the photos below.

First up was the main production hall with the saw-tooth roof. The photos are from both visits.

Just behind the main production hall was something rather interesting. Two partially demolished production lines.

Note the cereal boxes on the floor.

To get into the other rooms we decided to use the roof as a way to get about. Which looks great with the morning sunrise.

Nearer the front of the building was the packaging hall which also looked great at 8am especially the staircase.

Within another part of the building, which required a roof climb near a colossal drop, we entered the smaller production hall.

Upstairs there was another production hall with the machines removed.

I'll stick the photos of the other parts from the building below.

I managed to find something from the top of the silos. Unfortunately, I have had to screenshot it from a video.

And yes a train spot for good measure.

.

I went here five years ago. Sort of wish I’d gone back one last time now as it had lovely warm lighting in here, quite a cool old place.

It was definitely an interesting one. I still want to go back and explore the half that remains.

Nicely done, you timed it right to get the early light, made for good pics, enjoyed it, Thanks

The timing was early so that we could avoid contractors and security. It also meant I was able to get there and back before 2pm.
