ABANDONED RAILWAY CEMENT WORKS & CONTROL ROOM
So I've explained the history of this site in a previous report a little while back. So theres not much more to say other than the security updates.
The Explore
Within seconds of entering site we spotted the dog unit. As usual, the back doors to the dog van were open to make it look like someone was out with the dogs but by now I think most explorers know that there sitting in the back alone. There was no guard in the van that we could see so we just walked across from it and up into the first building. The kiln!
The kiln is probably the best building onsite as it had a control room. Still though all the buildings have amazing aspects.
Whilst we were exploring the kiln we heard a security guard scream for some reason. We knew it wasn't for us so we continued exploring. In fact we got around the whole site undetected until the end. But when they found us, I think I can speak for KP3Urbex too that it was one of the scariest urbex experiences we've had yet.
We were exploring a little building to finish of the explore. We tried entering through the front but couldn't because the door was jammed. So we entered through the back. Whilst we were inside we heard the security dogs barking. We know that when security dogs bark like mad they have caught a smell or something. So we stood in silence and turned off our lights. The dogs kept barking for a while. Eventually they stopped. When they stopped I started to calm down. But we head a loud metal banging noise. Security were trying to poen the door to the building. We pegged it out the back and stupidly walked to the front. I saw the guy standing at the front of the building on his phone. I didn't see dogs or a lead though. So I assume they were off lead roaming around.
Enjoy the pics. I only edited a few as some didn't really need editing!
