Default Pipe Factory, Hertfordshire, July 2018

    Intro
Often, when traveling by train we notice this factory tucked away in the bush lines. We decided to have a visit, curious of what may lay inside.

The site is located on an abandoned business estate, presumably the landowner lost the site and the business had to move. The other buildings have no interest or are inaccessible. For a small building it was a rather pleasant explore, the building was rather photogenic. Lights hanging from the ceiling and the slowly decaying wooden floors gave it a character. The two massive cranes were also a bonus.

Ignore the loss of focus, due to rain on the lens.

Don't worry about security until you've been caught.

About us
DerelictPlaces is a forum for people with an interest in the history and documentation of disused, derelict and abandoned buildings to come together and share their experiences, photography and historical findings. Our military, industrial and historical heritage is fast disappearing under the pressure of regeneration, the need for new housing, and often through simple neglect; Our aim is to document these places before they disappear entirely.
