Fletchers Paper Mill - Oldham Jan 08

So we get to fletchers paper mill and meet up with Mini... dude nice meeting u by the way.. and get down to business.. as soon as u walk into the place its like everybody just walked out and never looked back.. place is unchaved which is good.. cause its hard to find a mint place like this nowadays.. So it was Myself, Jonboy, Site, Hairy Syme and Mini....anyways heres the pics

It's a great explore Fletcher's, I remember when we first did it back in August last year (it was a toss up between this and a place down the road in Mossley) we couldn't believe what we were seeing.

I've been back a few times now, but the place has been ruined for me somewhat by mindless individuals and vandalism (the drawing room is a prime example, as are the office doors).

Still, nice to see it again, I have a virtually identical picture to yours of the huge 'death star', except I stuck a flash in mine.

I never tire of seeing photos of papermills – do you know whether there's any other Bertrams machinery there, or is the beater the only one? Great set of photos.

theres probably 20 beaters of 2 different types in 2 different places, its awesome mate!!

Great vid bungle, that place is strange, just seems wierd with so much original equipment still there. Nice one......

It looks it - great video btw. I got as far as the outside of Fletchers the last time I was in the area (see my Flickr...) then got "interrupted"!

Wicked Pics as usual, loving the light through the windows the most, looks like the aliens are coming!
