Location
Cobland, otherwise known as Derbyshire lol.
Unsure of the history of this vast textile building, (think ThenewMendoza gave the history in an earlier thread), but absolutely loved seeing all the fabric samples. Oh boy, was I in my element in here. AND TnM got me on the roof lol. Never thought i'd hear my self saying i enjoyed the roof top, (better shut up, otherwise he'll make me go on more roof's lol). Anyway on with the pics. (again, a lot of them have disappeared. grrrrrrrrr!!!).

A broken computer (well, i had to really didn't I, i always find one somewhere on an explore lol).

After negotiating climbing down an upside down ladder  and TnM encouraging (stop looking so worried, its easy, just jump ) i found myself on the first rooftop. and TnM saying, its not too high up look!

Thankfully he directed me to the stairs,

And another look at those beautiful tiles.

Didn't take anymore pics from here, climbing into a room from the hallway (with the tiles,) got my rear end caught on a nail  then started rummaging through all the hundreds of fabric samples. jeez, they're were hundreds. A dressmakers dream, sadly i can't make clothes, so they stayed where they were - sadly lmao.

This place is great, thoroughly enjoyed visiting here, even if Sal felt the need to look at every single fabric sample left in the place!! lol

First visited with Bungle a couple of weeks ago and definately worthy of a revisit, hell's bell's, I'll probably go back myself sometime I like the place that much!!

Anywho, a few of my pics...

The room of mystery, myself and Bungle wanted to get in here the other week but didn't spot the dodgy ladder/stairs going up to it.

hehe, if you had been with me, none of us would have got out lmao. It was getting darker whilst we were in there, cos i was taking so long looking through all the samples. Its heaven lmao.

This is another place i've said i'd like to do again. Soon ;) :D

Cheers,

:) Sal
