British Sugar, Kidderminster - Aug '07

Well this was quite an interesting and laid back explore. This explore I did when I'd first got my new dSLR at the time, this was quite some time ago but i'm quite pleased with how the photos turned out.

British Sugar at kidderminster was a laid back explore. Climbing up the sugar silo was kinda icky though (think climbing through treacle and you're not half wrong).

Some form of container. Not sure what it contained.

I believe this was part of the generator for the facility, apparently it had a 5MW turbine.

good stuff. have you been back recently? there are only the Silos left now. Awesome views from up there. Did you go to the very top of the Silo, up that dodgy ladder - on the roof of the staircase bit?

I went to the top where the door leads out onto the ledge bit, my friend climbed all the way up on that dodgey ladder... I was too busy cradling my camera at the time

You won't see it again either cos all that is left now is the silos.
I expect they will be gone soon as well
Real shame cos I wanted to go there as I work in Kiddy every now and then
Still, I'm off to Wales in the next week or two so might have a look at Talgarth Asylum some time
