This is Newsome Mill and clock tower in Huddersfield. It's lovely but dangerous.

Big thanks to Ernie99 and Rebel for the original discovery of the place. Also many thanks go to Squirrel68 for pointing me in the right direction to get there. Dweeb gave me great information too....cheers mate as usual.

As I left my tripod mount in the car, picture were all "freehand" ie:- not very good.

Visited with the excellent Converse1

Fantastic pictures. Any close ups of the detailed ironwork on the spiral stairs?

Nice report there.:)

What was dangerous about the place?

Well getting in was dangerous, the chavs outside with matches (this is a tinder box, all wood and dry), holes in the floor, rotten stairs...not the safest place.

Well worth a look though andy, I know you would like it :)

Mate, check Dweeb's report on 28dl in the Industrial section, he some great close ups of the iron stairs.

Nice work KE :)

Good to see the bell still in place -something of a rarity I'd imagine.
Did you get any exterior shots?
