I'm not 100% sure of the history of this place I'm afraid - it was a water treatment works but was shut down in October 1998 when a new treatment plant was opened nearby.

It's impressive at how it looks almost untouched and remains un-chavved after 10 years! It made an interesting explore on a gorgeous hot afternoon!

Any feedback is appreciated!

The water treatment facility. Reminded me of some AAOR bunkers with it being semi-sunken into the hillside.

That's a rather neat find. Loads of interesting things to see. Liked the graphometer type thingy and the clock...and a Racal manual, too! :mrgreen: Good stuff! :)
 
One of my favourite things is water treatment works. This is perfect, and its so intact too. Damn fine find!
 
Now that looks a great find. Such a pleasant change to see something unchaved like that. :)
 
Excellent find there mate, it looks like it's such a good state too, I may pop in there on my way back from Denbigh next week :)

loving the Jack & Vera Duckworth stone effect cladding! :lol:
Don't know about you, but that old table looks a bit out of place! :confused:
