Sloane House, Birmingham

My first explore in a looong time, being 7 months pregnant I can't afford to be irresponsible by going on many explores but spying easy access to this building was too tempting . I was with Virusman (aka the hubby) and Diluted, I only ventured on the ground floor of the building, it wasn't worth the risk for me and bump to go up stairs so I left the guys to that part.

Am currently researching history on this place, I'm sure between myself and Virusman we'll update with whatever we find. Anyway here are some pics. Hope you enjoy the pics as much as I did the mini explore

Coz of the area code change you mean? Yeah, most of the stuff in here was mid 90's. I found an odd thing tho, something from where I work that should have been delivered to Cheshire in 2002, but turned up here. had the original delivery note attached! Strange.................

First off, congrats to both of you, and well done Stealingheaven for doing the explore. Love the courtyard with the gantry walkway and the mirror with the twiddly bits on. Nice one.

HI was just wondering who you had to call to gain access to Sloane House? was driving around today and every wheres locked up with no number to call

How? does it have anything to do with the area code on the number?

Er, The Ghostbusters? The front door used to be the way in, but I reckon we were spotted by the BMW garage over the road! The place was fully secured the following week, with the big white boards now in place.

If you want to phone someone to gain access for an explore go find another website, I think you're in the wrong place

Yes that's right, I remember the area codes gained a 1 in 1994.

This can be useful for dating old paperwork with a letterhead, especially London numbers, which have changed 3 times in the last 20 years.
