Warehouse no. 1, King Edward Quay, Colchester.

Went for an afternoon stroll and popped me head inside this old Warehouse. It used to be used to house Bonded items for Customs & Excise, but has been closed for some years. Couldn't believe that the lights were still on!!!

King Edward Quay is located at The Hythe, to the east of Colchester, and is currently under-going a massive Regeneration, so I reckon that time is running out for a lot of these old buildings. More can be seen here.......... http://notquitegone.moonfruit.com/#/industrial/4525503976

Wow nice some nice pictures there, ive seen those buildings hundreds of times from the wivenhoe trail, what do you think to the building next to DHL's old building, the one with the crane attachted to it. Worth a lookie?

EDIT: Ive heard rumours that theres been dogs heard inside that warehouse, illegal dog fights maybe?

Thanks for your comments & the PM's :)

If you mean the old "Coldock" tower, well I did have a look for a way in a couple of years back, when you could get inside the warehouse joined onto the tower, but there was no way in  Bet there are some fantastic views from the top too!
The crane was still doable last time I looked -just be very careful as some of the metal looks rather rusty!
Dog fights? All I could see was evidence of a five-a-side footy match!

Your Pics dont work

I can see them. I do get the same problem if I view at work and people don't use img tags. My works network blocks images from things like Flickr although Photobucket stuff seems to be ok. At home of course it's all good.
