Unknown warehouse, Hackney July 2008

Photos from an old explore back in July. I'm not quite sure what this place was - it seemed to have warehouse space but also quite a few office rooms above it. It's in a pretty bad way as there was lots of fire damage, graffiti and evidence of squatters. Photos aren't that great as they were taken a week after i got my first DSLR!















There was lots of grafitti by this guy, 'the swede'

Not bad. How big is this? If it's big enough to make it worth the travel, I might pop down and have a look.

It's not much bigger than the first photo shows really, maybe another set of windows to the left. Then it goes back a bit. There wasn't anything of interest there in terms of machinery etc - just loads of empty rooms with pigeon shit everywhere! Although saying that i didn't have a torch with me when I went so I may have missed something on the ground floor where there was no natural light. I only live round the corner so I might head back this weekend to take a second look.

Don't be so hard on yourself - I like the pictures! I can never get my head around vandals though... why do they do these things?!

nice photos. loving that last shot. kind of looks like a composition because the squares are all different. guessing it's a door with windows though
