Today was my third visit to Pyestock and the place never ceases to throw up something new! I visited with Hydra, and after an interesting entry, we were inside.

I didn't get my camera out quite as much on this trip, mainly taking the time to enjoy the site and take in some of the smaller details which are sometimes easilly overlooked with everything else being so large.

First stop was the airhouse.

Next we moved on to cell 3. Whilst Hydra was busy setting up shots, I climbed the crane, rigged a rope and abseiled into the middle of the cell. After a bit of a bumpy start, Hydra quickly got the hang of the abseiling lark, and she assures me it won't be the last time she'll be on a rope :D

We moved on towards the Power Station and Fire Station buildings - all new territory for us both. I liked the power station, mainly due to the heaps of guages and dials, along with the lovely generators and the presence of another easilly accessible crane! The Fire Station building was also quite nice, containing the wooden plane mock-ups of which I've been wanting to see for a while, although the vandalism of them sickened me. Wankers.

Enjoy :)

It's good to see some new pictures from Pyestock.

Any sign of demolition? Or is everything still standing?

All the best,
Simon
