I dont know much about the history of this place but it was a cracking explore. There were two engineers on one of the factory floors removing something and after trying to sneak around them and failing, I got talking to one of them. he was actually quite friendly and didn't mind me being there although warned me about the boss who patrols the outside on a quad bike (i later had to dive in and out of small buildings to hide from him and his VERY noisy quad bike.) The ajoining factory is still operating but this one closed 4 months ago and according to the engineer, so did the one in Shepshed (hint, hint)
Anyway, on with the pics

I took this next picture as its the only explore i have done where the toilets are completely in tack! totally un-trashed.

I spent about 2 or 3 hours here, wandering around on my own. its a big place and nice to see, mostly un-trashed. sorry about all the pics, i took soooo many i found it hard to narrow it down to just 20!

Nice find. I take it by the lack of vandalism that the local chavs haven't realy taken over the place yet. Nice to see that some one has helped themselves to the copper bus bars out of the distribution boxes, you just cannot trust anyone these days...

It is indeed a very nice find. I too am suprised by how the place has been left untouched and left. Could not believe how clean those bogs were.

The place is un-touched by chavs but ravaged by gypsies. There is a bunch of caravans just up the road so this place most be like a little bank to them. When ever they need some cash they turn up, send the kids up on the roof and get them to throw down the lead.

Some very interesting things to see...love the tower platform and the 'green room'.
Looks like a decent place to have a very good wander.
Nice find and pics, vogel. :)

Cheers guys.

If your planning a visit, make it quick, the engineer reckons they might pull the place down. I'd definately say it was worth a look.

google aint my friend today tryed google and it only seems to show a place in shepshed tut tut!!!!

wanna go today aswell while its nice outside so if anyone can find me the location ill be very happy haha cheers guys

hi mate. just got online.

the place is in bagworth which is the other side of coalville. there is only one main road through bagworth and its on it so easy enough. Basically, go through coalville, through hugglescote, through ellistown and into bagworth. its all one road.

hope this helps. you might see me there. we are heading over this evening for another look around.
