This is a fantastic site full of old and new trains and related kit.

Swansea council has been trying for ages to get it shut down and has now succeeded.

It was close to me so my brother and I decided to have a look.

There are CCTV cameras in the area, notably, one on the main wall of the workshop building, a really small almost webcam like one and a few normal industrial types on the roof of Morris Bros.

Anyway, onto the photos.

Nice pics, looks like a really interesting place to wander around. Why'd the council want to shut it down

I believe they want to extend housing over the site and are just looking for an excuse to get rid of them.

It would be criminal to let the council get away with it. Shed loads of history there.

Wow, such wonderful things! Love the stuff left in the carriage...the lantern and model engine are delightful. Great signal box, too.
Another great find, evo. :)
