No real history on this one apart from the fact that there was a bad fire here in 2015 and it was being assessed for demolition then!
This was a chance discovery whilst I was awaiting my car repair in a local garage around the corner.
It was pretty dull - mainly empty changing room after changing room. There was constant flapping and banging that kept me on edge though.
I got one of the biggest jumps in my life when at the end of one of the eerie bird filled corridors I came across the mannequin. Flash thoughts went through my head I think....naked person? dismembered body? I soon realized what it was and was pleased with the find as is what the most interesting/photogenic part of the place. I found another disemembered, but less alarming, body in another one of the rooms.

i wonder how long those footballs have been there ? #lostfootballs :(
 
Grew up using Gunnersbury Park and still run around it occasionally! I remember when they were still in use. Thanks for posting!
